Naperville voters face split county lines before 7PM deadline
Residents must identify their correct county clerk to find polling sites before voting closes this evening.

Voters in Naperville, Illinois, have until 7:00 PM today to cast ballots for the 2026 midterm general election. The polls opened at 6:00 AM and will close at 7:00 PM, marking the end of the voting window for Election Day.
Early voting concluded on Monday, meaning all remaining votes are being cast at designated Election Day locations. A key logistical challenge for the city is that Naperville spans two different counties. Residents must determine whether they live in DuPage County or Will County to know which polling place to visit.
Most of the northern part of Naperville falls under DuPage County jurisdiction, while the southern section, generally around 95th Street, belongs to Will County. The source advises residents to check their property tax bills or voter registration cards to confirm their specific county assignment if they are uncertain.
For DuPage County voters, the clerk's website offers a voter lookup tool. Those preferring to call can reach the office at 630-407-5600 for English or 630-407-5608 for Spanish. Will County voters should use the elections page on the county clerk's website or call 815-740-4615 for assistance.
Local libraries serve as voting sites, including the Nichols Library, Naper Blvd. Library, and the 95th Street Library. Individuals who have not yet registered, have moved recently, or still possess a mail ballot should contact their respective county clerk before leaving for the polls to determine their options.
Official results will begin appearing on the websites of the DuPage and Will County clerks after the polls close at 7:00 PM. The publication expects to resume distribution of its November issue tomorrow, following a delay to allow readers a break from the election cycle.
